No. 206 Suspension Training
“A hammock in the room. Just that alone transforms everyday life into something a little out of the ordinary.” I'm Megumi. Today, I’ve decided not to go out and am instead letting myself sway gently in the hammock I hung in my room. The fabric hanging from the ceiling gently envelops me. Soft sunlight streams in through the window, and I can faintly hear the sounds of the city. Unlike a hammock outside, this “special feeling of being at home” is somehow addictive. I read a book, scroll through my phone, or just sway without a care in the world. I don’t run into anyone, but that gives me time to slowly connect with my inner self. Staying in my pajamas, with my hair untamed, and just being myself—this feeling is incredibly comfortable. The gentle sway of the hammock slowly melts away today’s fatigue. Playing outside is nice, but I’ve realized that “my own luxurious time” spent indoors is just as important for adults.
